About

Born and bred in Zimbabwe, I have grown up loving africa. I spent a couple of decades away from it while I followed a career in the British Military, but once my kids had become adults, there was little to retain me in the UK. Back on african soil, I currently base myself in Cape Town and travel around. Recently I decided to fulfill a dream, which was to travel over africa, just exploring. And naturally, it was to be in a Land Rover.

This blog is a simple one, in which I hope to keep family and friends updated on my whereabouts, my adventures and my photography.

  5. Thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog. Any chance of one more blog update on the Range Rover? Not many people have used one for an overland trip so would be good to get an update.
